Cotton Bedsheets

Cotton Bedsheets

Cotton sheets (cotton bedsheets) are good for children that have their own bed. Cotton sheets are normally very strong and durable and normally last several years.  Cotton bed sheets are good for anyone, no matter where you live. Cotten is a very good insulator and at the same time it breathes well and will keep you comfortable at all times of the year.  During the winter however, you will probably need more than a sheet.  In addition to the normaly blankets that you may have, there are also thicker cotten sheets that are still very comfortable, but provide extra insulation and can keep you warm on those cold winter nights.  Likewise, in ther summer, you may want a thinner, more airy sheet.  Something  light that wont trap as much heat or something to just cover you.  These cotton sheets can be great, but the will also wear down faster over time. This can normally be judged by the fading or fraying of the fibers in the sheet. The color in the weakened area of the cotton sheet would probably be faded or dulled.

Cleaning Cotton Sheets

If you've been eating a lot of buttered popcorn in bed? Cleaning cotton sheets is not difficult. Do not uses bleach on the sheets unless they are white and you want to use bleach.  Cotton sheets are not too expensive so don't worry if you mess them up, plus they are sheets and are rarely on top, so the color isn't too important.
Cotton in the substance used in jeans. So it may be safe to say that if you know how to wash jeans you may be ok to wash sheets.  The only difference is that your sheets are bigger and slightly less durable. The sheets, depending on the size and number of them, may need to be washed in several different loads. This is of course depending on the size of the washing machine and the size of the cotton sheets.  Do not over load your washer.  The sheets may not compress, when wet, as well as other things.  If there are any tags on the sheets, make sure to read them, just to see what the manufacturer says and make sure you put in the proper amount of detergent.  The instructions for that are normally on the side of the detergent container.
