Fitted Sheets
The fitted bed sheet is different from the normal sheet. The normal bed sheet is just a large rectangular piece of material made to fit a bed and made to be comfortable too. This may be a bit inconvenient to make look good and may take time to make it look presentable. The fitted sheet is the solution. The fitted sheet is made to fit the mattress and be easy to put on your bed and cover it. The best way to do this is the way stated on the directions. The fitted sheets can save time and hassle and don't come off as easy. In many cases they use just as much or less material than a normal rectangular non fitted sheet.
Fitted Sheets Origin
Fitted sheets are basically the same thing as fitted bed sheets except that they may have more use as they are only sheets and are not specifically nailed down to one subject. The idea of a fitted sheet can be traced back to a single thing. That thing is the annoying part of putting a sheet on a bed. The actual tucking and fitting part is the annoying part. So why not skip the hassle and get fitted sheets?
Fitting A Bed Sheet
Fitting a bed sheet is pretty easy. There is a general rule or idea for doing this. Fitting a bed sheet to make it a fitted bed sheet can be done at home. You will probably need something to sow with and the rest really depends on how you want to do this. If you want to fit only to a specific mattress the basic sewing materials will work. Some people have been known to just use a safety pin. This is a much better idea than using sewing pins. Safety pins will hold the sheet better and are safer as the name implies. But the pins, no matter how safe, could still slip; this is why it is best to sew the sheet.
Waking Up
When you wake up to that 6am alarm you don't want to worry about the sheets being all over the place and having to refit them to the bed. You also don't want to be tangles up. Fitted sheets can save a lot of time and hassle and make getting up or fixing a bed as easy as possible.
